Harvey was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame at Sacramento State in 2009.  In 2012 he was inducted into the Cordova High School Baseball Hall of Fame.  On September 14, 2024 he was inducted into the Rancho Cordova Sports Hall of Fame.  Harvey started coaching baseball in the Sacramento Area in 2017 with Show California.  He also spent time coaching at Best Speed Baseball and Baseball Performance Academy in Sacramento.  He was the Head Coach for the Alpha Charter School Angels in 2022 where they won the D6 section as a D7 school and finished as the runner-up for the D3 Regional/State Championship.  His focus is developing youth, high school and college baseball players mentally and physically.
